ABC ULTIMO CENTRE TOURS
Australian National Maritime MuseumBring your school group on a tour inside the Sydney home of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. The ABC Ultimo Centre brings together all aspects of the national broadcaster. The centre is a working space, so no two tours are ever the same. Your tour is likely to include a visit to one of our two digital state-of-the-art television studios, an on-air radio studio, a news studio, as well as an insight into a variety of other ABC Services. Tours run each weekday at 9.50am and 12.20pm.

PADDY'S MARKET
Paddy's Market Paddy’s is an Australian Icon that has been in this area for 150 years, maybe even longer as there was a second hand goods and clothes markets in this area from the very early days of white settlement in1788. Paddy’s started in 1834 as the hay and grain market site next to the new cattle market which was in Campbell Street. Which is why this part of Sydney is still called Haymarket.  The markets were named “Paddy’s” after a similar market in the Irish area of Liverpool in England.
